flip flops + mountain climbing = cold feet

The day after photographing a wedding you will usually find me hiding in my house with my feet up … not this day. We took a trip up the Jasper Tram with Alison, Jordan + Melodie for some sweet fresh mountain air. Followed by ‘the best dang chilli dawg you ever did eat’ right Jordan!?

kevin + carmen {pyramid lake, jasper national park}

I couldn’t wait to photograph this wedding (Shawn could attest to this..I think I brought it up 100 times the week before) … a few reason of course. One. Carmen has been a long time friend and the older sister I never had. Two. I REALLY like who she chose (Glad I told her to give him a chance). Three. We got to go to Jasper. And Four. It was a reunion of old friends.

I could write a novel about these two … but I will let the photos speak volumes about their day. Carmy, you are a beautiful person in and out and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me photograph your perfect day. And Kev, she is so very lucky to have you in her life. I wish you two all the love and happiness for ever and EVER. xo

the maid of honor was telling her to STOP!!!! (she’s never been early for anything so she didn’t know what to do with all her spare time prior to the ceremony…Kevin almost seen her!)
